CHARITY
One of the greatest blessings in life is to be able to give your time, talent & treasures away to others. I would not be where I am today in my personal & professional life if it weren't for the vast number of people who have had an influence on me throughout this journey. It is my wife and I's mission to be able to use the blessings God has given us to help others. We believe we are able to love others because Christ first loved us and we see giving is one of the greatest ways we can show and experience Christ's goodness in our lives. As it says in Acts 20:35 "It is more blessed to give than to receive."
College Golf Fellowship (CGF) has been a ministry we have been able to team up with and support. They are focused on investing in the lives of college golfers & their coaches. They were a great help to me during my college years in encouraging me in my faith and helping me navigate the challenges of living on my own and growing up and finding my own identity during college.
In 2018, I was fortunate enough to win the MetLife matchup where over $750,000 was donated to CGF on my behalf. I know their dreams and goals are big and they hope to reach every college golfer in the country. Our family grew on March 9th, 2019. My wife, Tawny and I welcomed our girl Pepper into this world! We are thrilled to start this journey of being parents and creating a home and family that loves & supports each other.
Family is the greatest gift from above. We see family as a team- Our business name, thank you notes and hashtags are always titled TeamPutnam. We are all taking on this life mission together.
FAITH
My faith is the core of who I am and how I see the world. It is what excites me to wake up and live life each and every day. My faith and trust in Jesus allow me to live with purpose, self worth and a clear identity of who I was created to be in this world.
Jesus said in John 10:10 that "I came that they may have life and have it in abundance." I have found that true life as it is meant to be lived starts with Jesus and out of that flows a life of abundance in all things.
Andrew gave a college scholarship of $1000 towards our first ever ACE Completion participants with Chase Gallagher being one of only four recipients in the chapters 13 year history. Chase was then one of only three participants in the country to be selected to attend the John Deere Power for Good National Opportunity. He received an additional $5,000 college scholarship in addition to walking in the ropes at the John Deere Classic and playing in the pro-am on Wednesday. He was one group ahead of Andrew during Thursdays round and was set up to meet him afterwards to thank him in person.
